About this Nominee

It is with great enthusiasm that I nominate Cody Livingston for the Chambers Choice Awards Alumnus of the Year. A proud graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Cody exemplifies the qualities of a dedicated alumnus and an inspiring community leader.

Seven years ago, Cody and his brother founded "Guys Who Give," a philanthropic initiative that has made a lasting impact on the Kalamazoo community. Through their visionary leadership and commitment to giving back, Guys Who Give has raised and donated nearly $400,000 to Kalamzoo nonprofits, directly benefiting numerous causes and enhancing the lives of countless individuals in the Kalamzoo area.

Cody's leadership extends beyond his impressive fundraising efforts. He embodies the spirit of service and community that WMU strives to instill in its graduates. By fostering a culture of collective giving, Cody has created a platform where men in the community can come together, connect, and contribute meaningfully to local causes. His dedication to building and sustaining this group has not only provided financial support to those in need but also inspired others to take action and get involved in charitable giving.

Cody Livingston is a shining example of what it means to be a WMU alumnus—committed to making a difference, passionate about community service, and dedicated to leading by example. His work with Guys Who Give has left an indelible mark on the Kalamazoo community, and his legacy of generosity and leadership will continue to inspire future generations.

For these reasons, Cody Livingston is an outstanding candidate for the Chambers Choice Awards Alumnus of the Year, and I wholeheartedly recommend him for this honor.
